The Hincks-Dellcrest Treatment Centre is a children's mental health centre serving infants, children and youth who have mental health problems. It also provides mental health prevention and early intervention programs. The Treatment Centre is partially affiliated with the University of Toronto and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services. Voluntary treatment services include: outpatient services, day treatment services and residential treatment services. Mandated services are in accordance with Canada's Youth Criminal Justice Act. The findings from the Research Department at Hincks-Dellcrest contribute to improving mental health in children and their families as well as preventing mental health problems from occurring or intensifying.
