Gateway Community Centre
A drop in centre for all members of the community that provides a haven from the elements with beverages and light snacks; a hub for people in need to access services and organizations; and programs that enable those in need to build skills that would lead to a brighter future. Our toll free line allows people from across Dufferin County to access our services. We make referrals ranging from assisting people who have no housing or food to people in need of counseling or who require information about other services in Dufferin County. We have also assisted those who are in a severe crisis state. Our ‘no wrong door’ approach at Gateway facilitates collaboration and coordination of services and assists with more effective case management.
