CINOT provides financial assistance with the cost of urgent dental care for children of low-income families. To qualify for CINOT as of January 1, 2009 children must be 0-17 years of age. Preventive services - pays for clinical preventive services for selected children at high risk of dental decay. Screening and consultation services - oral health assessments for children with no other access to dental care. Offered weekly at Guelph and monthly at other Public Health offices. Also offered periodically at other community sites. This is the first step for all families seeking to access CINOT and preventive programs. Your child might be eligible for CINOT if you: Do not have dental insurance and are not OW/ODSP recipients or the cost of dental treatment would result in financial hardship; or Cannot pay for your child to go to the dentist.
